CitySkate Holiday Ice Rink
Get into the spirit of winter by skating on a real ice rink in the heart of downtown Phoenix. A celebrated tradition, Central Avenue is transformed into an ice skater’s dream, decorated with a massive holiday tree and thousands of twinkling lights. Santa will make an appearance on select days.
It has been said that “if God had a singing voice, he would sound like Andrea Bocelli” The legendary Italian singer, songwriter and record producer has recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas, selling over 90 million records worldwide. Fortunately, Bocelli’s seven city tour includes a stop in Phoenix.
Journaling – In the Spirit of the Holiday
Capture the essence of the holidays while you sketch the beautiful gardens and festive decorations. From first-timers to experienced artists unlock your creativity, hone your observation skills, and reignite your sense of wonder to the natural environment around you. Artist and illustrator Devon Meyer will offer ideas and provide personalized step-by-step instruction.
Alan Cumming returns to SCPA with a new show Alan Cumming: Legal Immigrant, a collection of musings on his 10 years as a U.S. citizen, growing older and what it feels like to be an immigrant in today’s America. Known for his Tony Award-winning Broadway performance as the emcee in Cabaret and as political operative Eli Gold on seven TV seasons of The Good Wife, Cumming also wrote a New York Times No. 1 bestselling memoir, Not My Father’s Son and has earned more than 40 humanitarian awards for various civil rights, sex education and social justice causes.

This storied ballet is the quintessential holiday tradition guaranteed to create lasting memories for your entire family. Under the direction of Ib Andersen, the stage comes alive with 30 world-class professional Ballet Arizona dancers, 150 children performing as angels and soldiers and a host of larger-than-life scampering mice.

Enjoy sparkling champagne, a gourmet brunch, silent and live auctions, inspiring stories and adoptable pets. The “purrfect” holiday celebration will be held at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, with proceeds supporting Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, a nonprofit that provides services to pets and their owners in crisis.
12K’s of Christmas
Dressed in holiday running attire, participants will spread Christmas joy on 12K, 6K and 1.2K runs or walks. Carolers are stationed throughout the course to serenade the runners. Strollers, wagons and leashed pets are welcome. Pet adoptions and a bazaar are included with proceeds benefitting local animal rescue groups.

Sedona Northern Lights
This holiday spectacular, will dazzle audiences and virtually transform Sedona’s landscape with the largest 3-D projection mapping project to ever be performed on a natural canvas in the US. The show will run hourly from 6 – 9pm, giving viewers a unique opportunity to celebrate Sedona’s natural beauty, art scene and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Zoppé Italian Family Circus
With authentic roots in the Old-World Italian tradition, this one-ring circus features astounding acrobatics, canine capers, equestrian showmanship and Nino the clown. Tracing its history from humble beginnings of street clowns and jugglers through six generations of circus performers, shows will be held in a 500-seat tent on the grounds of the Chandler Center for the Arts.

ArabHorse Farm Tour
Scottsdale’s most prestigious Arabian horse farms welcome the public to open-barn tours and presentations to experience firsthand the beauty, history and lifestyle of the Arabian horse. Refreshments, raffles and a silent auction to benefit Healing Hearts Animal Rescue & Refuge are included.
