ARIZONA RESTAURANT WEEK

Last week we ran our first article on the upcoming Arizona Restaurant Week which begins this Friday. We offered five restaurants that the author indicated as “faves.” Having perused the updated participants list, here are five more that he added to his gotta-try list. Bon Appétit! 

EDDIE V’S

Seafood is what Eddie V’s is known for, but its specialty is excellence. Fish arrive daily from pristine waters around the world including Swordfish from Block Island, Scallops from Georges Banks, and Yellow Fin Tuna from the Caribbean. USDA Prime steaks are hand cut and specially aged for over 28 days to ensure peak flavor. From making fresh tortillas by hand daily for Lobster Tacos to including a full half-pound of Jumbo Lump crab meat in the Crab Cakes, they strive to go above and beyond with the intent to prepare the finest meal you’ve ever had.

The three-course dinner, priced at $44 per person, begins with a choice of two salads or Maine Lobster Bisque, four entrée selections that include North Atlantic Salmon, Chef’s Seasonal Fish, Simply Broiled, an 8-ounce Center-Cut Filet Mignon or Double Breast of Chicken and a sweet finish with either Bananas Foster Butter Cake, Vanilla or Butter Pecan Ice Cream or Fresh Seasonal Berries with Cream.
