Get Animated! is an interactive exhibit in which participants learn about voice acting from Bill Farmer, who’s voiced Disney’s Goofy since 1987; visit the Stop Motion Stations; develop storyboards; and design on-screen art. Other cool stuff includes the world’s largest touring 3-D zoetrope, original Clokey Studios puppets, and photos ops in Bikini Bottom, The Simpsons’ living room, and the That’s All Folks closing screen.
Cars & Coffee
Started as just a few guys enjoying cars and conversation, Scuderia Southwest has grown to host not just one of the most elite ‘cars and coffee’ gatherings in America. This year’s event will spotlight German cars – Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Audi. The annual event celebrates the absolute finest in automotive culture while benefitting numerous local charities, such as Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and the Boys and Girls Club.
The British singer, songwriter, guitarist, record and international superstar will perform his chart-topping hits at Gila River Arena. Among others, expect to hear the redheaded boy-next-store’s “Photograph,” “Thinking Out Loud” and “Shape of You.”
Discover Rioja Weekend
Attend a three-day culinary experience devoted to the Rioja region of Spain during the Discover Rioja Weekend set for Sept. 8-10 at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Ariz. The all-inclusive weekend will include samplings of wine and cuisine from one of Spain’s burgeoning regions, Rioja, with events that include tastings, a cooking demonstration, tapas crawl, and a five-course, wine-paired dinner.
The Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and singer, will perform at Phoenix Symphony Hall. Known for her contralto vocals, Krall will perform a 90-plus-minute set with selections from her romantic new album Turn Up the Quiet, as well as her renditions of other well-known numbers.

These legendary comedians present An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life, which features stand-up, film clips, musical numbers and conversations about their lives in show business. The pair is joined by the Steep Canyon Rangers, the bluegrass band with which Martin frequently performs.
Led by director and founder Julia Chacon, Inspiración Flamenca performs an authentic, powerful flamenco experience. The troupe consists of dynamic, internationally-trained, professional flamenco dancers and musicians. Beautiful costumes, undulating arms, fiery footwork, intricate guitar, and soul-stirring vocals come together to deliver an unforgettable show.

A Tribute to James Galanos
Phoenix Art Museum presents A Tribute to James Galanos, a retrospective dedicated to the iconic American fashion designer. Featuring more than 40 couture-quality, ready-to-wear ensembles and accessories, including an ensemble worn and donated by former First Lady Nancy Reagan, the exhibition will illuminate the designer’s influence and legacy with objects from the ‘50s through the ‘90s.
Chart-topping country star and hometown favorite brings his 2017 What the Hell Tour to Ak-Chin Pavilion. Bentley promises to “throw the party of the summer with ferocious live performances.” Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi are special guests.
