The change of season means the opportunity to do a wardrobe refresh, which is always made more exciting by the prospect of discovering a covetable array of new designers. I tapped Barneys women’s buying team to see what new and exclusive names are debuting at the store this fall. Their list of must-haves range from the sporty glamour of New York-based Area, exclusive Calvin Klein by Raf Simons accessories, waitlist-worthy sunnies from Roberie & Fraud, and much more. Scroll on for the Barneys team’s new designer picks.

“I’m always searching for a perfect jacket to dress up my jeans, and thanks to BLAZÉ Milano, I’ve found just that! Their blazers are the perfect combination of impeccable fit and interesting fabrication—definitely a fall must-have.” – Leah Kim, Executive Vice President

“When it comes to shopping, the majority of my dollars go to ready-to-wear: coats, dresses, knits, etc. That being said, this fall the first thing I want to get my hands on is the navy sequined bag from Sonia Rykiel. I’ve been dreaming about it since I first saw it at the showroom, and now it can be mine!” – Marina Larroude, Fashion Director

“The fluidity of Sies Marjan‘s third ready-to-wear collection is accented with knotting and ruching techniques that offer truly unique silhouettes, once again. The introduction of Sies Marjan shoes this season allows the customer to purchase the full look, and Sander Lak certainly translated his amazing use of color into his waitlist-worthy footwear.” – Morgan Richardson, Senior Executive Buyer

Samuele Faille brings with him years of footwear design experience and talent, having worked for such legendary brands as Alaïa, Saint Laurent, and Prada to name a few. Each shoe is a work of art—all beautiful, timeless, and sexy.” – James Newell, VP DMM, Womens Shoes

Area is an exciting new collection that’s exclusive to Barneys. The label’s talented design duo, Beckett and Piotrek, met while at Parsons, and their collection is an incredible mash-up of grown-up clubwear and ultra-chic cocktail pieces. Their collection has already won over celebrity fans including Bella Hadid. I love that this collection has a sense of humor too—who can have a bad day when they’re wearing the “J’aime Drama” tee?” – Annie Chen, VP DMM Women’s Developing Designer

“The newly launched Carolina Santo Domingo bags are great for everyday use while being small enough to wear at night as well. They truly offer versatility, style, and function. The burgundy color is my personal favorite.” – Meisha Brown, Senior Buyer, Designer Handbags & Leather Goods

“It’s nearly impossible to get a pair of sold-out Roberi & Fraud sunglasses, so you can understand how excited I was that we were able to secure the brand exclusively for Barneys. We’re thrilled to bring this collection in because of its undeniable cool-kid essence. The sunnies will transition perfectly into a fall look—think vintage-inspired headwear like a beret and a wool mini skirt.” – Jackie Kim, Fashion Office

“This season I am looking forward to shopping the newest Australian addition to our floor, Manning Cartell. The collection is designed by three sisters, so it definitely breathes femininity and confidence. I am particularly drawn to the selection of dresses, which are perfect for day-to-night dressing. The unexpected fabrications and details are unique to the collection’s Australian heritage and refreshing for the season.” – Hannah Bibb, Assistant Fashion Director

“This fall, we’re excited to introduce the revival of Bienen-Davis, an American heritage brand that dates back to 1931. This modern collection is a tour de force of vintage-inspired bags in vibrant colors and textures to help craft your own signature statement.” -Sarah Blair, SVP, DMM Women’s Accessories

Moussy is a new denim line based out of Japan that we are very excited to launch this season. They’re made of high-quality Japanese denim with an incredible fit and have distressing in all the right places. We have some amazing XO styles that they designed just for us, and they pair back perfectly with fall’s best blouses and shoes for just the right amount of rebelliousness!” – Stephanie Pilevsky, Associate Buyer

“Raf Simons did not disappoint with his first collection for Calvin Klein. Not only was his ready-to-wear collection outstanding, we loved the accessories and are thrilled to be the exclusive partner sharing the launch. Be sure to stop by and check out our incredible windows to celebrate the launch coming soon!” – Jennifer Sunwoo, CMO
