Experience Ballet Arizona’s premiere of ENERGY in-person at its Dorrance Theatre tomorrow, Saturday, February 13. The program will also be performed live in-person on February 14, 19, 20 and 21. Attendees can expect a refreshing lineup of innovative new works from Ballet Arizona Artistic Director Ib Andersen and dancer/choreographer Nayon Iovino contrasted with classical excerpts from Marius Petipa’s beloved The Sleeping Beauty.

On Saturday, March 6 the program will be available to watch online from the comfort of your own home.

“It is with great excitement that we present ENERGY both in-person and digitally this month.” says Ib Andersen, Ballet Arizona Artistic Director. “Our dancers are energized to be performing in two world premiere works alongside excerpts from the familiar and timeless classic, The Sleeping Beauty. While I miss presenting dance in our larger venues, being able to adapt and share our artistry in a smaller space and digitally is a unique challenge and opportunity that I, along with the dancers, have embraced. While ENERGY is a shorter program without the grandeur of a big theatre stage, the beautiful music, quality dancing and artistic passion are all still present for audiences to enjoy.”
