This statewide affair offers foodies a wealth of dining opportunities and the chance to get outside their own neighborhood and try something new. From sizzling Southwestern and soothing comfort foods to five-star dining and international fare – it’s all on the table during Arizona Fall Restaurant Week 2021. Although there are over 120 restaurants participating, here are five that caught our attention. So prepare your taste buds and dig in.

THE HOUSE BRASSERIE – Contemporary American Cuisine

6936 East Main Street, Scottsdale   www.thehousebrasserie.com

The House Brasserie evokes a bygone era, a time when service and hospitality mattered most in the dining experience. Tucked away in a shaded corner in Old Town Scottsdale, The House is also a place of culinary artistry. Chef Brandon Jedd combines worldly flavors and techniques to create an elegant and cozy menu with homespun style.

The three-course dinner, priced at $55 per person, begins with an Autumn Mixed Green Salad, and continues with three entrée selections that include Hudson Valley Duck Breast with Macadamia Nuts, Crispy Skin Barramundi in a Pomegranate Reduction or Linz Skirt Steak with Crispy Brussels. For a sweet finish, there’s an Apple Custard Tartlet with Cinnamon Cream and Caramel.

ZUZU, at Hotel Valley Ho – Comfort Food

6850 East Main Street, Scottsdale   www.hotelvalleyho.com/zuzu

The restaurant, along with its private dining space—The Rosie Room—is dedicated to Rosalyn “Rosie” Bennett Lyon, also known as ZuZu. She was the beloved matriarch of the family that owns Hotel Valley Ho, as well as a fantastic cook, who believed that food is better when it’s shared with the people you love. This little restaurant personifies what we love about Arizona; the rich sense of history, warm hospitality, and all its gentle reminders that we should never take ourselves too seriously.

Priced at $55 per person, the three-course dinner starts with a choice of Truffle and Wild Mushroom Bisque, Beef Tartare, Burrata Cheese with Tomato Jam, Little Neck Clams, or Brussels Sprout and Date Salad with Asian Pear and Spiced Pecans. The second course selections include Allen Brothers Flat Iron Steak, Scottish Salmon with Fingerling Potatoes, Petaluma Chicken Breast, or Sweet Potato and Black Garlic Risotto with Smoked Mushrooms. Complete your meal with either Chocolate Mousse Cake drizzled with Raspberry Curd, or Cinnamon Crème Brûlée.
