Art Detour became the heartbeat of the local arts scene when it started as Phoenix’s original art walk 34 years ago. From exploring artists’ studio spaces to watching live painting, it began as a weekend full of incredible things to see, do and experience. This year, the event has expanded to the entire month of March. Some events have specific dates, times and admission prices, while many are free and can be explored at your leisure.
Artlink, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission of connecting artists, businesses and the community, announced that Art Detour will return as a month-long celebration of the Arizona arts and culture community. Now in its 34th year, the event will begin on March 1 and continue through 31, 2022, giving art patrons, collectors and art lovers a broader range of ways in which to engage with artists and destinations throughout the state.

“I am honored to serve as Chair of the 2022 Art d’Core Gala,” said Harper. “I have seen first-hand the power of art in Phoenix, and I am thrilled to be collaborating with Artlink, showcasing the rapidly growing arts and culture community in our state.”
