rethink, rearrange, refresh
By Fiona Clarke

Having been homebound for over two months ( but who’s counting?), you’ve probably noticed that your abode could use a bit of a refresh. Perhaps a comfy side chair in the family room, a desk lamp for your new at-home office or some stylish baskets to organize the out-of-control clutter would do the trick. Here are some suggestions to help you consider the possibilities.

The Series 4400-T by Fleetwood Windows & Doors, is the first of its kind, breaking serious ground as a weather and energy-rated pivot door designed for luxury residential applications. It marries the clean, contemporary design demanded by modern architecture with the performance required by an entrance door. The effect is a gorgeous flow of interior floors that blurs into the outdoors.

Once again, Sonoma Forge has wowed us with their ability to design stylish faucets, with the release of the Strap lavatory faucet collection. Equally at home in an urban loft or condo as well as a contemporary residence, the standard split finish of Satin Black and Satin Nickel highlights the uniqueness of this design. Now available other mono finishes, you’ll have  a tough time deciding on Satin Nickel, Brushed Bronze, Satin Brass, Polished Chrome or Matte Black.

San Francisco-based consumer technology design studio, Ammunition, just released the  Gio Task Table Lamp. Inspired by revolutionary Italian lighting designs of the 1970’s, the Gio collection is made from sustainable corn using a new kind of 3-D printer invented by collaborator, Gantri. The lamp evokes a sense of revolutionary whimsy while standing ever-ready to focus your efforts. It’s designed for the office or study, but its directional head finds ways to work well in every room in your home.
