This statewide affair offers foodies a wealth of dining opportunities and the chance to get outside their own neighborhood and try something new. From sizzling Southwestern and soothing comfort foods to five-star dining and international fare – it’s all on the table during Arizona Restaurant Week. Although there are over 130 restaurants participating, here are five that caught our attention. So prepare your taste buds and dig in.
The House Brasserie evokes a bygone era, a time when service and hospitality mattered most in the dining experience. Tucked away in a shaded corner in Old Town Scottsdale, The House is also a place of culinary artistry. Chef Brandon Jedd combines worldly flavors and techniques to create an elegant and cozy menu with homespun style.
The three-course dinner, priced at $44 per person, begins with a choice of salads, three entrée selections that include Peruvian Rock Shrimp Linguini, Swordfish au Poivre or Linz Skirt Steak and a sweet finish with a Chocolate Caramel Cookie with Vanilla Malt.
Time slows down as soon as you step into Olive & Ivy. Inspired by the French Riviera, our approach to dining allows you to enjoy a few stolen moments with those who matter most while sipping on sangria and nibbling on our Mediterranean food. No matter what you are here for, we’re here to welcome you to a space that is as inviting and relaxing, as it is grand and sophisticated.
Priced at $44 per person, the three-course dinner starts with a choice of Sweet Corn Soup, Hummus, Bacon Wrapped Dates, a Classic Caesar Salad or a Mediterranean Salad. The second course selections include Sweet Potato Cannelloni, Veal & Spinach Ravioli, Atlantic Salmon, Lasagna Bolognese, Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Scallopini. Finish with either Peanut Butter Mousse in a Chocolate Shell or Warm Butterscotch Cream Cake served with Vanilla Bean Gelato.
Located in an adobe building, Chelsea’s Kitchen showcases the bounty of the region’s farms, ocean and pastures. Featuring a wood-burning rotisserie and grill, a full bar, extensive wine list and an outdoor patio and fireplace, diners will experience the best of casual modern dining with a Southwest flair.
The three course meal, priced at $33 per person offers three salads to start: Shredded Kale & Quinoa Salad, LGO Caesar Salad or a Brussels Sprout Salad. Entrées include Roasted Mary’s Farm Chicken from Smoke Yard, LGO Reserve Short Rib Taco Platter, Grilled Swordfish Taco Platter or Farmers Market Vegetable Enchilada. A Small Batch Grateful Spoon Gelato completes the meal.
When Paradise Valley officially became a town in 1961, residents prided themselves on the quality of life and majestic desert scenery. Priced at $44 per person, begin with either Coconut Carrot Ginger Soup or Buratta on charred Noble bread with peach jam. Entrée selections include Duck Confit Cavatelliin in a Mushroom Ragu, Braised Short Ribs or Quinoa and Lentil Stew. For dessert, enjoy an Apple Tart with Apple Butter Gelato and Spiced Caramel.
THE MISSION, OLD TOWN

Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Homemade Tortillas, Sauces and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.
Priced at $33 per person, starters include Stone Fruit Salad, Sea of Cortez Shrimp Aguachile, Crispy Pork & Cola Lime Glaze or Chicken & Clam Tostada. With handmade Mission Tortillas, entrée selections are Chorizo Porchetta, Pecan Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Red Snapper “Al Pastor,” or Cauliflower Veracruz. Choose from three dessert selections; Heirloom Carrot Cake, Suspiro de Limeña or Pumpkin Bread Pudding.
